A COVID-19 Update and a Prayer Request

Dear Friends,

As of this morning, there are now 1,105 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Rwanda and three deaths.

The government is allowing our employees to return to work. We are so grateful for our staff in Rwanda who ensure everyone is practicing safe social distancing while at work and wearing masks. We have multiple washing/sanitizing stations set up throughout the property.

Stateside, we are still unable to generate revenue through sales at trade shows, as large gatherings are not yet safe.

OUR SOLE MEANS OF GENERATING INCOME FOR THE MINISTRY LIE IN SALES FROM OUR ONLINE STORE, HOPE ARTISAN COLLECTIVE, AND THROUGH THE GENEROUS GIVING FROM DONORS.

As always, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide full salaries, not only for the women, but for security guards, farm staff and cooperative staff. In total, we are providing life-saving employment for 156 employees.

If you are able, we humbly ask that you consider making a donation to support our work in Rwanda. No gift is too small and 100% of your giving goes directly to Rwanda - to provide employment and healthcare for all of our employees.

AS A THANK YOU, ANYONE DONATING $25 OR MORE WILL RECEIVE A FACE MASK MADE FROM AFRICAN WAX-PRINT FABRIC, FREE OF CHARGE (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST).

A Prayer Request

It is with broken hearts we share the news of the death of part of our Rwanda family. Domina (pictured above) lost her daughter, Beatrice, who was only 22 years old. Beatrice succumbed to the epilepsy she battled most of her life.

Please join us in praying for Domina and her family. We also ask you to pray for our counseling team in Rwanda as they support Domina through this season of unimaginable grief.

Lord, hear our prayer.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being part of God's transformational healing in Rwanda.
