We are so excited to bring select patterns and accompanying notions to an ongoing collection created by the women of Handspun Hope in northern Rwanda! We will continue to add patterns through our collaboration with Stitch In Common.
Stitch in Common is a collaborative effort that was created to lift up economically disadvantaged designers from all over the world, making their pattern designs available to the knitting and crochet communities. Volunteers translate the designs into English language patterns along with technical editing, providing access to the global marketplace while ensuring that the patterns and proceeds go to the designers and their community.
To learn more about this project visit www.stitchincommon.com. For pattern questions and help, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
As you shop through all of our designs, please note that each is named after one of the women working for Handspun Hope in northern Rwanda. You will be able to click on the link provided to learn a bit more about her hopes for the future.
Also included in this collection are patterns created by other designers for Handspun Hope.
Handspun Hope is a sustainable fashion brand committed to ethically-sourced materials and minimal environmental impact.
