Bwana Gorilla Ornament

Meet Bwana, a tiny gorilla with a big story.

Lovingly handcrafted in Rwanda, Bwana is needle felted entirely by hand using locally sourced wool. With a piece of bamboo tucked in his hands, this charming little gorilla is inspired by Rwanda’s beloved mountain gorillas and their home among the misty forests of the Virunga Mountains.

Each Bwana ornament is carefully shaped and detailed by women artisans at Handspun Hope, making every ornament wonderfully unique. More than a decoration, Bwana represents skilled craftsmanship, dignified employment, and hope for women and their families in Rwanda.
