Ostrich Eggshell Herringbone Bracelet, Natural + Black

Our gorgeous Herringbone Bracelet in Natural + Black is created from ostrich eggshell by artisans working under fair trade conditions in Namibia. Each precious bead is precisely chiseled by hand before each bracelet is meticulously crafted. The eggshells are sourced from commercial farms to ensure sustainability. This piece was created using both natural and dyed eggshell beads. Coordinating necklaces are also available.

Women, who are largely illiterate in Namibia, make up the vast majority of artisans creating this traditional jewelry. The women are trained in business, and provided with information on healthcare and HIV, nutrition, and women’s rights.
